    Hello,

I am using ICS on Galaxy S3 and this is my first adventure into Android from BB. I am wondering how can I 'automatically' show the keyboard on an input screen - currently you have to click into the editbox and only then the keyboard shows up (stock or swiftkey) is there anyway to show it as soon as I get to a screen which requires text input.

I am a newbie and apologize if this has been asked before (I searched but didnt find anything relevant except developer questions on force display).

    Thanks

Not that I know of. You can manually activate the keyboard by holding the menu key, though.

Thanks for the pointer - thats a click that can certainly be saved. I am hoping there is some tweak/app for that.
