How to get into the DHD diagnostics mode

launch the phone dialler and type in the following:

*#*#INFO#*#*

This will launch diagnostics with some useful information

It will give you loads of info of your phone, battery, wifi, apps etc. You can check the network connectivity etc If you type what i told you you can see the menu. Obviously if you don't know what something means, leave it alone or ask someone here :D Hope it helps
 
Any other interesting numbers i can punch in. On my last phone SE W950, I had put in some code i got off google and it gave me options where i could test the hardware. These were such things like screen test, ringer test, buttons, vibrator (teehee), and mic test.
