how to override virgin mobile account lock

Can i over ride a virgin mobile account lock, and swapped my handset for one attached to the locked account

Simple answer - no. You can probably negotiate having the account opened gain, but I suspect that's going to involve paying the past due amount, the interest and fees, plus anything else they want to hit you with - including a hefty deposit for another account.

Oh, and cellular companies exchange information, so going to another company isn't going to help much. They'll still want your left leg and your first born as a deposit.
