    Okay dumb question but how does one take a screenshot of the home screen?

    You have to install the Android SDK and take a screen capture of it. You can search on the XDA Xoom forums and there are many post there that talk about how to do it.

    The sdk method works well unrooted. A bit cumbersome but it works.

    For Rooted: shootme app from the market.. Rocks! Just get to screen you want then shake phone and hear the "snapshot". Saves automatically to your card.

    Isn't there supposed to be that capability coming in an update or so? Maybe that was for the patch after Gingerbread on the phones. I'd like to see that for sure.
