I bought my G1 10/23 from corp t-mobile store. It's hard to put down,absolutely love it! Last night I read the negative ad from verizon listing G1's draw backs,could not disagree more! The G1 keyboard is very good and the buttons stick up more than enough. The trackball makes the phone much better than the ickphone and you dont have to convert everything to itunes (hated that on my ipod).Android will later add everything else the G1 is missing.
