HTC Desire USB port not working after revolutionary

I had my HTC rooted and working fine using Alpharev S-OFF.

A couple days days I've decided to install revolutionary (revolutionary-0.4pre4.zip), loaded on a PC running windows.
Bad idea. After the initial install everything looked fine until I tried to connect to the PC using the USB cable. The PC (running windows) reported "A device has exceeded the power limits in te usb hub" and freezes. The HTC AC adapter won't charge it either. What I need is way of restoring/overriding what was done by Revolutionary, from SD card. Cannot use the PC/USB combination!!!
The HTC is working fine I just cannot charge it...

Any help will be appreciated.
