Help HTC sync doesn't work?

downloaded htc sync - accepted my serial

attached desire to pc - and selected htc sync

launched pc programme


i clicked sync

and it doesn't seem to have done anything at all


i wanna back up all my contacts, music, photos etc

but it doesn't seem to have worked



also - i thought the desire sent your contacts to gmail to keep them backed up remotely

doesn't seem to work either

new user so go steady

I don't know anything about HTC Sync, but for your other problem go to Settings - Accounts & Sync, then under Manage Accounts select Google and make sure the relevant boxes are ticked. You can also try pressing Sync Now on that page to see if it works.
