Root Im going to root........

using the R6 root (I have 1.20 and bootloader 0.8)

Anyhoo a couple of questions

- I know th eguide looks easy but one part I dont understand is "then open a command prompt / terminal window at that directory" and also where to enter "step1-windows.bat"

a screenshot would be quite helpful.

and then once ive rooted using this method is it easy to put 2.2 on? Ive read through so many guides ive confused myself

in Windows (Assuming this is what you are using) go to start>run Type "cmd" and press ok. This is the command prompt.

In this window, the directory will refer to a folder on your pc.

Maybe something like C:\users\DjLukeW or C:\documents and settings\etc

Make sure that is where you have unzipped the stuff you need.

Then type "step1-windows.bat" and press enter. Basically there will be a file you downloaded called "step1-windows.bat" in the folder. You are using a command prompt to run it.

ROOT completed. Its prompting me to upgrade from 1.15 to the latest 1.21.405.2

can it be done or should I leave it?
