Hello Casio Fans, (i'm back!)
So many of you have probably heard of being able to increase the sdcard cache and improving the read speeds. Here are some pictures for the skeptics.
If you have a UHS Class 1 32GB card:
Before:
After:
The write speed was increased a little bit, another test showed it about 1.5MB/s higher, but the read speed is consistent. I even got it up to 32MB/s once!
If you have a Class 10 16GB card:
Before:
After:
Both were affected, and significantly improved.
These settings are not kept, for some reason, when you take the card out of the phone and but it directly into your computer. But, when you use it as Mass Storage, it is SUPER FAST! The app that I used for this is called SD Booster, from the play store. You can also find it in my updated barebones "toolkit"->soon to be updated...
i will soon be releasing a video on how to add sd-ext4 support for this phone.
~Anything to make the phone more enjoyable...
