The live wallpapers on Droidmod 1.0 are very cool. How can I get them to be interactive?
GDE or DxTop home replacements in the market allow for them to be interactive.
Both of them are around $3, I think.
You will need either DxTop or the buggy 2.1 launcher to get the touch interactions fully functioning.
You need to have a 2.1 launcher... you can use launcher 2 (which is a little buggy), or you could just use a home replacement app that supports live wallpapers (I think dxtop, open home, and gde are the only ones that do right now)
Are you using either one of these and are they stable?
I am using dxtopand its very stable. Look in my thread about live wallpapers being released, I have a video.
I have GDE purchased, and I played around with it for a bit, and it seems much better now than it was when I originally bought it.
Anyways, all paid apps have a 24 trial period, so you can give them a whirl that way.
If you just want to play with the interactive wallpapers, I suggest an app called 'Show Off (Your Live Wallpapers)'
It'll just display the live wallpaper, and then the interactions will work. Then you can back out of it to get back to your actual homescreen.
It works on open home just fine
