Root [International] Please help! LG G2 bricked. Tried everything!

Pm sent.

Have you tried DD flashing TWRP recovery to your recovery partition? Then booting to recovery? And by that I mean the TWRP version for the Sprint variant.

Hi, When I am trying to run the dd command I get the attached.

Thanks

Yeah looks like you're in a recovery shell there. You'd want to do that from bulk_mode, however, I know you've already done that and laf is not recognized as a valid output. So something happened to bork you laf partition.

I suppose if you can still access bulk mode, you can try to redo the first part of this:

[FIX] NO Recovery mode, No download mode, after OTA on rooted LG G2 - xda-developers

...up to and including the gdisk list command so you can actually see your partition table and see if laf shows up there and if so, where?

Hi,

I can't get it into bulk mode now. It's either recovery mode or just the LG logo.

Thanks

Oh sorry bex, I was getting you confused with LinusFro there for a moment. :o

Anyway, ok so the DD command won't work from windows. Try using the terminal built into TWRP to issue the DD command instead. Once done, power off and then attempt to enter download mode. That's when you should get fastboot mode back and you can proceed with the flashing of all the partitions.

OK I've done this and it says

No space left on this device
65537+0 records in
65537+0 records out
33554432 bytes copied

Is this right?

Thanks

Well, I'm not real sure what's up with the no space error. But what happens if you turn off and try booting to download mode now?

Thanks, I am now into fastboot mode.

So now I have gone into cmd and done adb devices. But there are no devices found even though my PC recognised that it was plugged in.

Thanks

You won't have adb connectivity now, only fastboot. Which is the intent so all is well.

I flashed aboot for 1 as you wanted you to and tried flashing laf for 14, 13, and for 12 its saying disk is full. What should i flash for 13 and 14 now? Just aboot to save space?

I have exactly the same problem!!!

I went to the step where the command fastboot reboot it worked fine.

Now I need the img files but my LG G2 has 32gb.

Can I use files in the folder 10b_16g_partitions? If not could you please indicate the link to the correct files? (G2 LG D802 - 32gb)

Thank you

Hello,
I have a similar problem with the OP. I own a T-mobile USA LG G2 32gb. After rooting it, i attempted to install TWRP using the app "flashily" i pushed twrp 2.8 to the device. I did this twice, and ever since my device has been stuck at the LG logo. So far i have tried to hard reset but it just goes back to the LG logo. The device will not turn off. When i hold on to the power button long enough, the screen goes dark, but as soon as i plug in the usb, the LG logo comes back on. So i don't think it stays off.

So far i have installed adb.
Installed LG drivers
"fast boot devices command does not work.
Reboot does not work.
It cannot go into download mode.
I have downloaded the image files (1- sbl1.img, aboot.img, rpm.img, tz.img)

Please help!

The error message i get after trying to Factory reset is: Error 6270 boot certification verify; secure boot error.

I have the same problem. Can I use the10b_EUR_16G partitions for my lg g2 d802 32 GB?

No, don't do that. You'll end up with reduced storage on your 32GB phone. Also, I don't advise flashing all the partitions anymore. At least aboot, boot and laf to restore download mode which you can then use to flash stock firmware.

Any more clues you can provide to help find the right partitions? Do you know what was the last firmware version you were on...10b, 10c, etc? If you have access to your IMEI (on the box the phone came in for example), you can use that to identify the correct kdz for your device and then we can extract the partitions from that. Instructs on that HERE.

Hi,
Thank you so much for replying!

I'm stuck in a big probelm.
So I have LG d802 phone that shipped from Hong Kong. The software installed on it was D80210e and it was rooted when it came in. So i tried upgrading the software via LG PC Suite and as soon as that got over, my phone got stuck at the LG Boot Logo. All I could do was get into fastboot mode, so I did that and flashed the aboot and laf images. I finally got download mode back. So i went towards the steps for flashing the kdz on my phone. Downloaded the tools, installed the drivers and the D80220d Kitkat firmware. As the process went on, the flashing happened and even after hitting 100 percent, the LG logo only came up and the phone did not boot up. Then I repeated the same process with the LG Flash tool but this time with a lower firmware D80210e and even d80210b, but even after completing 100 percent my phone wouldnt start and is stuck at the LG logo.

This is the situation right now : It is stuck on LG logo and nothing is happening. I can get into download mode. It says B71 Rooted(In Red) and I have tried flashing multiple kdz files but nothing helps.

Please help me out. I don't understand what I should do.

Please please please.

Please help me.

I am in the following situation after an OTA (I was root).
Stuck on the LG Logo, with the LED going from green to BLUE.
No Recovery Mode, No Download Mode, No Fastboot, No ADB shell.

When I plug in Linux I get:

Do you have the newest LG United drivers installed on your windows machine? You may need those to get recognition. Are you positive you're powering off the phone entirely by pressing and holding power for 15-20 seconds? And then once off you're pressing and holding volume up while at the same time plugging into the PC?

^^If you've done all the things above already, I'm afraid there is no answer. The only remaining option that could show itself in device manager aside from the normal boot modes would be qhsusb_bulk mode. But in that event Windows would be trying to mount many partitions. Doesn't sound like that's the case with yours. :(

By using flash tool 2014 I somehow able to communicate with the cellphone but when I want to push a .TOT file it give me an error message like:

Error: fota partition was changed
LAF retrieve GTP failed
Partition Change fota

:( Any idea?

Is your phone a 16 GB or a 32 GB storage size?
