Root internet won't work on DInc2?

hey tech heros,
So I'm currently running virtuous on my rooted DInc2. Since flashing the Rom, I haven't been able to connect to verizon's wireless internet. I can make / receive calls and texts, but the internet displays a webpage not available screen. I've tried looking through the settings on my phone and the mobile network says it's activated. Is there maybe somewhere that the internet is shut off that I haven't checked out? Really the only non-stock app i have is juicedefender. Thanks in advance for any help!

is juice defender on your notification bar? if it is, pull down your notification bar and click the juice defender icon. if that doesnt fix it then its one of the common virtuous unity problems. alot of people are having internet issues

juice defender was on the status bar and it said it was blocking wireless access. I shut that down but unfortunately i don't have service at my house so i can't test it. looks like it definitely would have caused the problem though, thanks!

Does this apply to internet over WiFi? or just 3G/ EDGE EVDO? Is it common for Virtuous Unity to have problems with data over 3G/ EDGE EVDO?

well it didnt used to be, but lately alot of people have been saying they have no data

Interesting. I wonder if VZW has implemented some kind of anti-root measure. I flashed Virtuous Unity a few weeks ago, and starting Wednesday I had no 3G/EVDO access. flashed back to the stock backup and 3G worked fine.

yeah the internet still won't work for me... When you say you flashed to stock and 3g worked, do you mean the stock rom that the phone came with? I like virtuous a lot, this is the only problem I have encountered. With MIUI my music player would crash my phone. What ROMs are the most reliable / bug free? Or do you think virtuous will be fixed soon?

FIXED! I flashed the patch from Virtuous 3.1 to 3.3 and the internet works seamlessly now.

Yes, I went back to the backup I made immediately after S-OFF / rooting the phone. At that point 3G worked. Using any version of Virtuous Unity (either fresh or my backup I made when I noticed the problem) made 3G not work.

I was having the same problem. I was using Virtuous Version 3.1. There is a newer version, 3.3, which I flashed to and seems to work flawlessly. Here is where I downloaded it if you want to give it a shot:
