Help Is there a cure for landscape keyboard lag?

Its really my only complaint with the Hero, but it makes me never bother trying to use it, any advice ?

I picked up Smart Keyboard Pro from the market...really nice looking skins and lag is near 0. I think it was around 2 euros but it's worth it for me.
