Help It's having a slow time reading

I noticed that after I loaded my u8150 Ideos phone (with Micro SD card installed) with Android Apps, it reads slower than before I installed apps. I also noted that my on board memory is down to 48Mb from 72+14Mb status. Does this have anything to do with it?

My follow up question is, is there a way to free up on-board memory without deleting any apps I've already installed to it?

Have you moved your apps (those that allow it) to the SD card? That will free up memory.

Hey Nedd. Thanks for dropping a note. Yes I did transfer a lot but it's still a bit slower than when I first bought it. What could it still be?

I sometimes was having to wait 20 seconds for the wallpaper to be repopulated with icons after hitting the home button but I got ruthless, deleting all the apps I hardly ever used (especially the big ones that couldn't move to SD). My available memory went from 68MB to 91MB and it's fine now
