Happy New Year!

I bought the Galaxy Note 2 few days ago. It came with Jelly Bean pre-installed. Under settings, language, I was able to change in Japanese. However, I can't type in Japanese. Do I still need to install IME such as Google Japanese Input Method? Isn't this supposed to be pre-installed as I could change Japanese under language setting? Thanks.

Thanks. I used to use it on the Galaxy Note when only English, Korean and Chinese were the only available options. On my Galaxy Note 2, it has Japanese pre-installed. At least, it recognizes Japanese voice input out of the box. So, I wonder if I could type without installing Google Japanese Input.
