Help Kies: when I transfer music to phone, all artist/album info disappears.

In 'Library', After all of my hard work to add all of my songs' info (Title, Artist, Album, Track number)

Once I 'Transfer to Device' it all disappears, and the 'Title's are just the names of the files, like '01 - Aberinkula.wav'
(And from that point it does not allow me to edit any of the files' info)

Any tips on what I'm doing incorrectly?

(I tried to include images but this forum would not let me)

Pardon my ignorance, but I cannot find that option.

Tap the Music app icon.
Tap the Menu area to the left of the Home key to bring up the menu.
Tap Settings
Tap Music menu (first choice in the list).
The selections I noted above are listed there.

I'm not surprised that you can't edit the data, but it should display when you run the Music app. I copied my tracks (originally ripped from CD's) from Windows Media Center Library on my PC to the sd card on the S4 using a USB hookup. All the same info came over including album cover art (which may required a data connection to display). I don't know what happens if you use Kies to do this.

Consider using MediaMonkey (find it on google play), it works well and has wireless sync. Read the FAQ in the MM forum for how to set up wireless sync, it's a bit tricky.
