When I have finished with an app I press the home button which obviously takes me to my main home screen. I power it off with the power button on the back or double tap the screen.
Now every time I use either the power button or the double tap option to wake the screen up it appears with the normal screen for a split second and then instantly opens the last app I had in use.
I find this really annoying and it's only been happening recently but I can't see any settings that may effect it.
