I've been playing with Launcher Pro and am planning to start using it in place of HTC Sense but I have an issue.

I have created two shortcuts on my main home screen for my two main email accounts ( 1 IMAP and 1 Exc Activesync ) but the message count does not update like it does with HTC Sense.

    Am I missing something ?

I have the gmail on the dock and that updates. Have you tried a shortcut to the mail app rather than the mailboxes themselves

I have - that has no mail count at all, just the icon.

These are on the home screen BTW, not the dock.

I remember when using folder organizer, shortcuts didn't update. Only widgets did. Wonder of this is similar. I can't get it to update no matter what I do or where I put it.

Hippotech, how did you make the shortcuts on your home screen in the first place? I don't see a way to do this.

The "Messaging" app is in essence a folder, with shortcuts to all mail accounts (except Gmail) and a Universal Inbox.

The "Email" app just opens your default email account's inbox.

And the "Gmail" app is obviously just Gmail.

How in the world do you create shortcuts to the individual mail boxes that are in your "Messaging" folder??

Any help is much appreciated! :D
