Ok so I'm getting really fricken irritated with my wife's Dinc. She dropped it and cracked the LCD a couple weeks ago. The digitizer is fine, just the LCD is cracked and not working. SOOOO I bought a used incredible from ebay for $30 with a good screen, tried swapping them only to find out that apparently the parts phone I got has the AMOLED screen, and my wife's phone has the newer sony S-LCD.
SO, I then ordered an S-LCD screen and I just put it in. STILL WON'T WORK! When I power the phone on it vibrates, then nothing. I'm 99% sure I did everything right, I've worked on electronics before and I took my time with this to be sure I did it right.
Any ideas? I've spent more on repairing this than just buying a used one on Ebay....lesson learned. Of course my wife's phone is already rooted, ROM loaded and all the apps she wants, would be nice to get it working.
