Help LG Ally, 1x at least?

Okay well I have my LG ally flashed to MetroPCS with working talking and texting. Now I'm just trying to get 1x working, not 3g or EvDO, just 1x is all I need. I know it's possible and I've been told it is. I've tried changing the settings in QPST but they just revert back. I've tried changing the apn settings, and the "DUN MIP NAI" in the ##lgservicemenu.

I don't want to give up on this phone can someone please guide me to the right direction? Thank you...

Its possible. Sure. But its a paid solution. Which cant be found on here. And I dont even know of it really.
