    Hi,

I have managed to convince the Orange Swapable Sky Sports to work on my LG Nexus 4.

However, it automatically opens the video in 'Gallery' of all things, which means I get a 16:9 signal displayed on a 4:3 output - helpful.

I can see no way of making the Gallery player alter its settings and I have another video player set as the default app for viewing videos.

Does anyone know how I can either:

    a) change the video player that the swapable uses or
    b) alter the playback settings on Gallery video player?

    Thanks!

If you install another video app then go to view a video, it should give you the option to view the video in the new app.

Normally, you'd clear defaults via Settings -> Apps -> Gallery, but I can't see a way of doing that with the gallery app (mine is greyed out anyway).

"and I have another video player set as the default app for viewing videos"

which is surely no different than installing a new video app?

When you install a new video app, it will force your phone to prompt you which one you want to use when you go to watch a video.

Unless you can clear the defaults of the gallery app, it's the only way I can see of getting the prompt to appear.
