Root Lgnpst vs740 dll???

OK peeps I've being looking for the LGNPST Ally(VS740) DLL Installer all over the net and the only link i found is dead so if any of you happen to have it and wants to share it'll be much appreciated.

Is it the one that comes with the cab update file? Because it wont work if it is.

i have dll registered i npst lab version. if u are wanting to nv edit to flash phone to another carrier, im afraid it wont do any good. the hdr and ppp usernames revert on boot. i have written nv items, but default size for those nv items (ones that matter) are 20 bytes. which is what results in 0000000000@vzw3g.com. if we have actual .bin file we could hex edit and make it work i think. i have located where they are stored in the .tot file, however that is not flashable through npst.

Hi guys first thanks kc720 for the dll and second how in the hell do i make it work?
i've being trying to install it forever now and always gives me errors. Please any help is appreciated.

you need lgnpst, right click register, and the generic dll installer then right click on the dll and choose register

thanks death2all110 i figured it out, the thing is i have the lgnpst store lab and i dont have the option to register dlls inside of it and the dll was giving me an error but its ok i got it installed.

I have stated this before,
Editing the .bin file for the phone to try and get the settings from reverting does NOT WORK.

TOT and Bin files seem to be one in the same. For Example:

Here is both file properties for the LG Optimus M .tot and .bin

As you can see both are the exact size in bytes.


Now here's both files opened in a hex editor:

Again here you can see these files are identical. There's no difference.

u can flash .tot with npst and proper dll. when u get ready to select .bin, change it to *.* and hit enter. then u can select .tot. tot is masterbin. i have only had success flashing it in normal mode tho not in emergency mode. thanks goes to 123456& at mobile-files.com for the info
