I'm sure there are a bunch that I'm forgetting, but those are the ones off the top of my head.

HTC sense weather widget. I've had the original apk on all my phones since it's hard to find now.

My favorite apps so far are...

DocsToGo by Dataviz: paid $15 for full version (was 50% off) but it is full featured and easy to use. So if you use Word, Excel, Powerpoint alot on your desktop it is well worth it.

CompanionLink with DejaOffice: paid $50. I absolutely had to have this. I've been using a TREO for the last 8 years and was married to a product by Dataviz called Beyond Contacts which had outstanding sync ability. I was shocked to discover that their were so few effective options in the Android world to sync with my desktop Outlook (for which I extensively use for Calender, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes). Although I heard some complaints about this product, I found that if you follow the directions during installation and familiarize yourself with the options, it works great!

Handcent: very good text messaging app, has "Quick Text" feature that I use alot amongst a ton of other useful features.

LED light: nice simple flashlight. (Tiny Flashlight + LED had way to strong of permissions to suite me.)

I concur with DocsToGo. Unlike QuickOffice Pro, DocsToGo Full version allows me to open password protected Microsoft office files.

And for those that don't want to pay for the full version, just keep an eye out on Amazon App store (which i'd recommend having on your phone anyway for the daily deal free apps). I got the full version for free.

my favorite widget is the makeyourclock. it has by far the most user friendly clock on the market imo.

I've been in these forums for almost two years now, and it still amazes me what new apps I'll discover just reading around the device forums. Makeyourclock has been around long enough to have over half a million downloads, and I've never noticed it before.

You can do with that would used to have to be done with several separate clock widgets. Great configuration choices.

Thanks for that. ;)
