UPDATE:
I tried to email their support to see if they could reupload the kdz, but never heard back. So I searched around and found a kdz that took all night to download! I am going to post 2 upload links that work as of 11/13/2013!

Alternative Links:

In case you guys need to unbrick for any reason here is stock KDZ file found on here MetrocPCS LG Optimus F6 (LG MS500) Stock Rom / Firmware “MS50010e”

Here is the direct link
The download should be around 709MB
LG Optimus F6 (LG MS500) Stock Rom / Firmware “MS50010e”

You can use my unbrick guide over on the T-Mobile thread if you need help flashing it.

Does anybody have a new link to the stock MetroPCS firmware? The link above is giving me 403 forbidden.

Yeah I noticed this also. Not sure what happened to the link? There is an alternative way you can try to unbrick/unroot the device. Download LG Mobile Support Tool. Plug in your phone. Click the top right options and then click on Upgrade Recovery. Hope that helps.

Actually, I have the T-Mobile version of this phone. What I'm hoping to do is flash it over to the MetroPCS firmware because despite the fact that I've rooted it, I can't get any sort of tethering to work.(I really don't want to use PDAnet as it requires a computer side client.) There are no third party ROMs for this phone as of now, but I've read tethering works with the MetroPCS firmware.

Use Mobile HotSpot? I use it just fine. There is no need for extra data plan or extra apps?

The built in T-Mobile app requires paying an extra fee to T-Mobile.

The Metro PCS hotspot and tethering app is only an extra $5 per month and gives me unlimited 4G LTE data WITHOUT ANY DATA CAP for up to 8 devices.

A high-speed cable internet connection could be a lot cheape; but, then, I wouldn't be able to carry it around on my phone. So the Metro app is good for me.

I have the exact same problem on my LG Optimus F6.

Seem to be going round in circles as well:

My phone is rooted via Towel Root and was using links to the SD Card for storage.

I first noticed a problem a couple of weeks ago when the phone was not booting, removed the ext_SD and then it booted fine. Put the ext_SD back in and all appeared to be good.

Now I just get the LG Logo and identical problems as you describe OP.... :(

First time I've been stumped like this actually!

I've tried different USB cables - two cables that are of decent quality (Lenovo) will not detect the phone but the Metro PCS cables appear to work correctly - other than the Param error messages.

Any ideas?
