Root miui pikatchu vs other editions?

i have been using miui pikatchu editions but decided to use the website for the latest update and discovered that the update was developer version and not a full wipe (it works fine btw) i was just wondering which was the better one to use. i noticed with pikatchu i didnt have any motorola logos on the bootup screen it was all miui branding but now with this developer version the red "m" is back at the boot up. was just wondering which is the best to use? any help would be appreciated.
