Help Need help, have questions, cracked screen, etc.

My screen is cracked from a drop. I ordered a replacement digitizer and was going to order a new faceplate till today. The mic quit working so I can't talk to anyone. They can't hear me. What is my best solution for this? I don't have insurance. 3rd party repair service or HTC? I figure I don't have the skills to fix the mic myself.

I am fairly new to this phone, but learning fast.

Also, does the Incredible have Gorilla glass, and if not what other phones do?
