I don't know, but you can pull down the notification bar to check it.
I've seen star icons before in notifications, but not this particular one, the ones I've seen were notification ads.

You weren't exactly forth coming of the details. I thought it was your phone. You'd be surprised how many go here and didn't know about the notification shade.

it's either AirPush spam or a Wal-Mart advert (probably part of AirPush) or an app from Wal-Mart. did you install a free app recently?
