Hi all, I'm soon to join you in the wonderful world of Android as my Hero is being delivered today. As such, I'm thinking about what I'm going to need soon after I get it and have a couple of questions. I'm sure they've been asked many times before, but a scan through the first few pages of this forum didn't give me any hits, so please bear with a new guy by answering them one more time?! a) OK, I did see this one answered a few months back, but obviously things change, so where's the current best place to get an 8GB class 6 card? Amazon have one for about
Thanks - I'm going from Vodafone to T-mobile, so wasn't sure if my SIM would be read by the Hero when it came, although I suppose I could do it the other way and load the T-Mobile SIM into my C902. Now just going through the threads, working out what apps I'm going to need to focus on ;-)
The only problem I have with that idea, is that the contacts list on gmail includes everyone you've ever emailed or had email you - including all those Dell, amazon, Richer Sounds, ebay, paypal etc. circulars. Maybe I just need to look into the settings a bit more, but is there a way to flag people as 'real' contacts in gmail?
Its a good card, got mine from amazon too. I have a generic hero screen protector from ebay, sent in from China or somewhere like that. Does the job and I don't notice its there. Those invisishields can be frustrating to put on.
It's worth a browse through here I reckon Mate! Play.com (UK) - Free Delivery - Mobile - Search Results: 8GB sdhc
Oh OK Mate, Did not realise that!! I've heard that they run good enough on a Class 4?? But for the extra money I agree with what you say Class 6
I don't have a screen protector either. I have a phone sock for when it's in my pocket AND a padded (small) camera case for when it's in my bag. Oh and welcome to the Hero club.
Ahhhh got it.. I had to go in Setting / Application and wipe data for all gmail app and contact. After that, re-log to gmail and now the option is there!!!
