Help new video player for android

it seems there is a new video player named vplayer up in the market. review says it's much better than rest of the players available. but on xda site i checked it says it requires neon support.. i need your help in this. what is neon support and can we use that application now? for me i am now unable to see it in the market.

I think it was related to Snapdragon's (and other CPUs newer than our CPU) CPU instructions. Which means it's useless for us.
