I liked (and still do) my Hero so much because it introduced me to the android platform, and I just came from Winmo.
I will stick with Sprint because they have a great deal and coverage in my area, but I also look forward to my next android device. I am sure a lot of old faces will end up at the next sprint android phone forum.
I could be way off the mark with this one but, doesn't the 2.1 update include flash support? I'll look this up, unless someone beats me to it, after I get out of class later this morning.
Flash 10.1 for Android will require at least an ARMv7 (Cortex) based processor... the Hero doesn't have it.. neither do a lot of phones.. Adobe kinda dropped the ball on this one making the requirements so high..
if it going to make me regret getting a hero.. nope..is it going to make me feel left out and abandoned.. nope.. my Hero is a great phone.. not having flash 10.1 support isn't going to get me pissed off about it..
You all do realize the Hero supports Flash, and has from the get go?... they are talking about Flash 10.1, which would be nice, but unfortunately the Hero just doesn't have the processor for it. YouTube - HTC Hero - Adobe Flash Demo

To be clear this is the best phone I have had in quite some time and I am loving it. But as good as it is a faster processor and 10.1, for Hulu would make it that much better.

So after everyone stood by the Hero when it had dust under the screen, battery issues from SMS never sleeping, perceived behind schedule release of 2.1, and all the other little quirks, a lack of a non-lite version of Flash is going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back and causes everyone to jump ship to another phone? You people must really love your Farmville.
haha thats hilarious the way i see it the flash we have is just fine...if you think about it its more ads they can add in and slow the phone down...jus my .02

I wanted to be able to watch fancast from comcast, which uses hulu to stream tv to my phone...I could with my other phone tho, so.....yea too many things droid doesn't do to suit me.
Actually the Sprint hero can and does run flash 10. If anyone has tried the 2.1 Eris ROM for the hero from over at xda, it came with flash 10 on it and I verified that the hero can run Hulu as well. It was kinda slow, but it ran. I think the article is misleading, adobe won't support it on our phones, but its not that our phones can't/won't get it. Two different things.
