I believe I remember seeing an FM Tuner app in some of the early hands on videos at the Samsung conference, but I haven't seen any lately in the recent unboxings. Does anyone who has the phone know if its in there somewhere, or did Sprint remove it?

I was just seeing if anyone with the phone actually has the app, and if it works.

Just picked mine up at lunch. No FM tuner app preinstalled. Not sure if one from the market would work or not.

The "Sprint Radio" one streams from online and doesn't use an internal FM tuner. Just FYI

It would be pretty dumb for sprint to include the FM tuner built into the phone, but not include an app to actually use it. I'm gonna assume that they removed it from the phone to save money/keep the phone slim.

that sucks. Not a deal breaker but for me who has less than ideal 3g service at home would have liked a fm tuner as iheart radio and fm tuner app keep losing connection. That gets really annoying when i'm trying to listen to sports talk as I am cutting the grass. I guess we can't have our cake and eat it too:)
