Help No signal on my refurbished Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy S3

Please Help! I recently purchased a refurbished Straight Talk Samsung Galaxy S3. I have no signal in buildings. When outside at my home I have very little (1 bar) signal. I also only have 3G in my area, but do have 4G other places. My friend has the same phone and the same carrier and has no problems at all with signal strength.

Is it just in building coverage or is it outside as well?

It is inside, but also very weak signal outside

It is in certain areas.

If its just in certain areas it could be coverage! Are those areas within a 5-10 mile radius of each other or more?

Yes. My sister in law and mother in law both have the same phone and carrier. My sister in law has no problem with her phone, but my mother in law has weak signal in her home only.

Most likely will be coverage! Indoor coverage is hard to guarantee with any provider, there are too many factors! If its inside and out let your carrier know so they can check it out. If it ends up you start to have the issue everywhere more then 5-10 miles it could be the phone radio or antenna issues!

Straight Talk uses multiple carriers. So just because they also have straight talk doesn't mean much unless they have the exact same phone. Otherwise one could be using Verizon towers while another is using AT&T.
