Help No Sim Card error message

Hello,

Am using HTC Desire HD A9191, it was working very fine but recently is giving an error message that there is no sim card while it is there,i tried several times to replace different sim cards but the error is still there, help please.

Welcome to the forums, JoseTarmo.

You may have an issue with damage, dirt, debris or moisture in the SIM card slot.

Inspect the area with a bright light and magnifying glass. Isopropyl alcohol ("rubbing alcohol") works well on cotton tipped swabs as it evaporates quickly and if used liberally (a lot ) will clean nicely. It is used by phone techs all the time.

Look for contact damage, as well. You may need to take the device in for replacement of the SIM card slot or for repair.
