no wake when receiving text message

the first thing we should figure out is why the phone dont wake the screen when you get text messages. it wakes with all other notification but not text.

ya ive looked all through mine. even check the box that says wake screen when you receive notifications. it wont turn on only with text, everything else it does.

I had that problem too with my blade.
I just gave the phone to my son for gaming lol.
I decided not to upgrade my zmp till next year 2018.
Next phone I'll purchase will be the ..Samsung Galaxy Note 9 .

Well it's probably some battery savor thing. Not turn the screen on. I actually have my screen so it won't wake up for any notifications now.

well nothing was working. so i looked around online at the same problem on the zmax pro and found a guy that was having the same issue and just ended up using an app. i found Glimpse Notifications witch was small and had a few other options that i like, so im using that to solve my problem.

This is so late reply but if you still have the problem then go to settings-Display- Ambient Light should be checked
