Help Not all calendar items sync from Gmail to device

I have a fairly new (Nov 2011) Samsung Stratosphere and use Outlook to maintain contacts and calendar appointments. I also have many yearly recurring events, such as Anniversaries and Birthdays. I use 4Team's Sync2 to sync from Outlook to Gmail - all with no problem. When sync runs between Gmail and my device, I loose some appointments - usually some of those yearly recurring ones.

I have tried clearing the cache and the data on the devide and resyncing. I get the same results. I have spoken to Verizon and 4Team support, all to no avail. They tell me to contact Google - that's almost impossible.

Any suggestions?
