I just picked up my week-old Desire from my desk and tried to activate the screen, and it's died. Tried plugging it in to charge - no lights, no screen, nothing. It has bricked. Nightmare.
Should be able to get a refund or replacement from the Amazon marketplece vendor, and if not then a repair by HTC, but am starting to wonder if a refund and a different phone might be best. Real shame, cos I liked the phone a lot before it bricked.
