OS update double arrow notification annoyance

Hello all.

I just installed the most recent OTA OS update and now there's a double arrow icon plastered in the bottom right hand side of my phone that, when swiped up, opens up a full-screen list of my notifications.
Needless to say, I don't need it because I can PULL DOWN from the top of the screen to see my notifications like has been the case for over a decade.
It's immovable and is right in the way between the k and the m when the keyboard is open.
I've seen it before.
It was on my lock screen prior to this update and wasn't much of a bother.
I thought it was part of Good Lock but I uninstalled and it's still there.
I've searched settings to no avail.

Anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it?

Long press it and drag to the bottom of screen or choose delete...

I thought that as well.
When I long press I can feel it vibrate a couple of times but it won't move.
Is this part of the new os "features"?

Even dumber, there are no notifications inside the screen that gets pulled up using the arrows as a handle.

Found it!

I was right.
It was Notistar, a component of Good Lock.
