Summary:
1. Wanted to remove bloatware from my P698 Optimus Net Dual
2. Rooted successfully. While removing bloatware removed LGHome.apk by mistake
3. Consulted forums to put the apk back. Read somewhere that custom recovery is required. Tried to install CWM using gscript (some scripting software)
But the process kept giving errors
4. The phone rebooted to a black LG logo screen and got stuck.
How can I restore/recover? I can enter emergency mode. Tried fooling around with the LG update tool but it is not working. I also have the original kdz file. Can't find a single thread that can help me. Tried to use adb.exe with the phone in emergency mode but it was not listed. Someone please post a step by step guide for P698.
