I used to own an Epic 4G and had it synced to this stereo before without problem..
I recently got a Note 2 few months ago and this is what happens when i try to sync-
Phone- Stereo found! synced
Stereo- Phone found.
I enter pairing code on the phone. SUCCESS!
Then, the phone asks me something like this-
Would you like to import your contacts into your phone book(for the stereo).
Yes Cancel
I hit Yes.. then.
Would you like to import your contacts into your phone book(for the stereo).

I have tried hitting cancel but it repeatedly asks anyway.
I have to unsync from the stereo to get it to stop syncing.
So, is their a protocol clash here with not understanding this phones structure or file system layout?
This is the only thing the Note 2 hasn't been able to sync to.
