Help Phone locked out

Hi there im wondering if anyone can help me here.

The problem is i use the pattern code to access my phone & i did the correct one but wouldn't open so it's decided to lock my phone so i have to enter username & password to my google account. The thing is i have no connection to the internet from the phone as i turn 3g/wireless on & off when i need them.

Is there anyway i can access my phone some code or way of getting my phone working again?

Turns out after many hours on the phone to orange that this is a glitch within the android system...
