Help Playlist trouble

I recently bought a Sony Xperia L and I have a problem with its playlist. When I am listing a song from the memory card as a favorite, every time I switch it off and again on the favorites playlist is empty. This problem exists for every playlist that I'm creating. The thing is that if it is a song from the phone's card it stays there. I had it checked and they told me everything okay. So I am looking for an answer, if it is really a problem of my phone, or if someone else experiences the same problem. Thank you very much
