Possible solution to Xbox360 issue

Has anyone tried hacking the G1's device ID and spoofing it to something else (such as the Zune's device ID) and plugging it into their Xbox360? I get the feeling that the G1 would work perfectly with the Xbox360's music player, only since the device ID isn't recognized, it doesn't bother mounting the G1's SD card as a mass storage device.

Is it even possible to spoof the G1's device ID? Hmm...
