Huawei has invited members of the press to an event on August 17 in India. While the invitation does not indicate which device will be unveiled, it's speculated that Huawei will show off the P9. So far, the Huawei P9 has been hugely successful across Europe and select markets in Asia. The phone would be quite a bit more expensive than the average sale price of smartphones in India, but Huawei should still manage to sell quite a few units.
