Problems with market and email !!!!

Hi everyone ... im new to forums ... i recently picked up another incredible because i broke last one and i have been having a couple problems ... 1st is that it wont let me put my aim accounts for email notifications but it did with my last phone .. it keeps saying wrong info .. def not wrong info ... 2nd is that the market is being very slow ... apps wont download sometimes or may take along long time to even start actually downloading .. whats going on!! lol .. thanks
