Problems with texting app

    Hey everyone,

    I'm using the default texting app, and every once in a while, I can't type in the text box because it is grayed out. Any one else ever have anything happen like this? I've taken the battery out, and it still does this. My phone is the htc incredible and I'm on 2.2.

    Haven't had this problem. But i highly recommend HAndcent for texting;)

    I second Handcent. It's unbelievable the amount you can customise your inbox and etc. Though one thing I found with this app is that you can put a pattern password on your inbox to stop people reading your texts, but that doesn't stop them from going into the stock messenger and reading them.

    If you like it, go into your stock messaging app and turn off notifications.
    This way you dont get double notifications when you get a message

    Ok, so I really like that texting app, but I'm still having the same problem with this app. It's happened several times over the last few days. Could it be a phone issue? Any more ideas?

    So the curson is not blinking in the text box?
    Might be a phone problem. Are you able to replicate it? If so, take it to Verizon and show them.

    If you dont know when it's going to do it, try to record it with someone elses phone then send the video to yourself, so you can show them.;)
