Help Question for those who have OPENED phone -- help with physical mod

I'm assuming that the "vibrate" feature of the phone is achieved through a rotating motor and weight.

Can anyone confirm that?

Also, can anyone indicate how accessible the motor is after opening the phone?

Finally, does anyone know the power at the motor during operation?

The 'vibrator" is the sealed black box with the red dot attached to and sitting in a square hole through the top of the motherboard. I didn't give it a thorough look, but I'd say that it's attached via soldered ribbon, not a clip. It's not hard to get to.
