It is the R2D2(ish) version of 2.2.3.15. It has been cleaned up, deodexed and keeps root. I used it for a while, extracted the lock screen to the SD, updated to the newest Blur free Rom, and added the lock screen. The R2D2 ROM works great, but is not as fast as the BLUR free.
It definately is. I like some of the "features of the R2D2 ROM, but the speed of rubiX is awesome. Just know you will lose all moto apps (even the good ones). I added the car dock and alarm back. The moto ones were better than the rubiX ones.
Yeah I kind of afraid of that. I use the alarm a lot and I have a few contacts widgets but I might get rid of those because I have a feeling they're draining the battery. I read on the Droid x forum that people are having trouble with rubiX but I think its worth a shot. This is why I rooted. I like being able to decide what I what's the best and not being stuck with the same boring phone for a year. Once I get settled on a Rom I need them ill start playing around with themes.
