Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Soap box:
Speaking of amazong packages about a spell ago they gave me the wrong plug in, that I did not need for my new tv / monitor, it was a micro usb with a vga connection, got that to staples..

Ah yeah drink up buddy.

Keep in mind:
When heading to the device manager, I had two monitor settings, one for Generic pnp and one for nvidia that kept it double vision, for what it is worth.

I feel a lot better knowing this.

Murphy at his best... My son is on vacation and his M-I-L house setting found water standing in his basement. I ran over there and got the sump pump running again. I have no idea why it had stopped but with all of the rain that's fallen recently in our area, it took no time for the water to find a way into the basement. His basement is full of nice gym equipment and a sauna all sitting on high dollar rubber gym flooring. It will take serious effort to avoid mold and mildew under that flooring.

So icon pack studio app, one that you can modify your app color and make it yours.
.. I give them a bad review because I already paid for pro membership ages ago..

I edited them about every so often and whenever I feel like it, so.. After I reset my cell, did the dance of the fire,
set fire to the rain etc. - It switched me back to regular membership, it is a glitch since I never cleaned out the cache,
and when I did everything just sort of screwed up it from having it back with pro membership, but ontop of filling out the fourm, gave me a url to change without the ticket to it, I had to remove the two step notification since I was not getting in the number of loging in to the account with that...the moneky who threw their poo at me, then suddenly I could not find the right key to log into the account of google, I did the back up and for the two key login, though I wonder if I meant to save it.

update: I was able to log in just now, and it seems working pretty well..

Weren't you looking for a new launcher the other day?

Icon pack studio comes from the smart launcher folks, doesn't it?
Yeah man..
But I am staying with action for now, I might have a huge issue with nova.
How come does it reject my cell so much but stays so in love with my tablet?

I've been on Nova since my second small tablet from long ago. Worked flawlessly over several different manufacturers and multiple phones. I had looked in to the icon pack studio but felt I could make my own icons from targeted download versions.

Then how come I always get a pop up keyboard, and no funcitioning app drawer when, it freezes a ton though?
That is why I switched to lawnchair as well as Action launchers, they do not freeze on my cell. huh.

So I cannot add any widgets to microsoft browser, I cannot change lables via pie launcher, although I can add widgets to that, they just do not show up..

Seriously will I have to clear my cell?

I just redownloaded smart launcher... Eh ADHD.

I encountered an oddity just a bit ago. I opened up my phone to the home page to find my weather widget was missing. I am using the stock launcher and I have the home screen locked to prevent moving or deleting my widgets.
It was easy enough to create the widget once again after unlocking the home page and locking it again once the widget was in place. It must have been an Android 15 or UI upgrade fart. I've never had the lock home screen layout fail to lock the layout.

We do companies keep asking you to fill out a survey when they aren't done helping you with the issue at hand.
They are probably done helping but you don't know it yet. 🤣

The whole idea of leaving a review or completing a survey is ignorant. If they want me to be their salesman then put me on the payroll. Amazon is constantly sending an email asking me if I ever wonder if my reviews are appreciated? I want to answer no.. I certainly haven't been the least bit curious as to my reviews reception. I'm just damn sorry I ever left a review.

That is why I barely do reviews on anything. People just suck, I did a review the truth of a quilt. They take wayyy too long..

They are definitely not ready for prime time. My son was over drinking beers the other night and he noticed my feet and said "damn dad, I don't want that whatever it is" I told him good luck. My skin, especially my hands and feet, look just like my dad's. Speaking of dear ol dad... he would have turned 103 today.

The summer of 1974 the vacant house to my North finally sold. A super nice family moved in and one of the first things the mister did was plant a little oak tree in the back yard. I could easily hop over it. That family moved on after the kids were grown and the mister passed on. After a few new owners, the house has become a rental and has been for at least 15 years. All through the years the little oak has grown and is now massive. Though the tree is well placed in the back yard, it has grown to where it hangs way over into my yard. I'm talking half of my back yard is under it's canopy. It has huge branches that are over my home, covered patio, and shed. The branches are way above all of my stuff but the leaves and acorns are a serious problem. I'm guessing 10K at local prices to have the tree removed... and I know it will never happen. It's an absolutely beautiful oak tree just way too much tree for the area. I'm guessing this sidewalk to my shed is 40' from the base of the tree.
