Root Removing swipe lock screen

    I installed a key pattern to unlock my phone however the swipe from left to right is needed first...how do i remove the swipe?

    I am running Apex 1.4.1

    Download "no lock" in the market.... it will allow you to bypass the lockscreen. I also recommend widgetlocker for a better option for lockscreens, although this isn't free. Widgetlocker is very customizable and allows different types of lockscreen sliders. Also very nice that you can unlock by swiping down on the notification bar also. Quite handy.

    Since you are running a rom maybe these are all things you know or maybe they don't work with your rom either. If so, apologies.

    i know rubix 1.9.7 has a slide pattern to unlock option without having to slide also

    No lock did not work...I'm looking to keep my pattern lock to replace the swipe lock...any ideas?

    yeah use rubix rom it has that option

    Liberty also does away with the slide lock when you use a pattern. It's my only complaint about Apex. Anti Lock will help but you momentarily see the slide lock before it switches to the pattern lock.

    Is rubix a different rom? Or is it a different part of apex?
