ringtones keep changing after turning off/restarting phone and my default sms resets ?

K so if i restart my phone or if it dies when turning back on i find when i go to sms it askes me to choose a default every time it does not save my answer also my phone is changing my custom ringtones after turning off/restarting its getting tiresome to have to redo all the time im using gosms on lg connect but i also have handscent and the stock as sms only cause i have alot of issues with go sms so i use the others as backups if anyone has a solution please let me know thanks.

It is a GoSMS bug , It happened to my friend , Update it or wait for the update , Depends by your phone , If you have to reset it on stock Text Messenger , then it is your phone

If you are willing to , Why not Delete GoSMS and go with another texting alternative?

Thanks i just noticed it also askes me for a default sms after unplugging from computer and ive tried alot of sms apps so far gosms is my favorite maybe i will have to report a bug to gosms or wait for a update/fix

It may be your SD card

Mudkipz has a point as well , if the sound/ringtone for GoSMS is on SD Card , Then it is the SD card since your phone should be able to read the SD Card

Also , Are you willing to root , ROM , your phone? Like change the whole interface?

Well i moved my gosms from card back to phone see if that helps and i am willing to root but only after i learn more about rooting last phone i had rooted i had no idea what i was dong wound up bricking the phone

Weird, I've been having this problem lately, and mines is not a Go SMS issue..
I use stock Messenger.
I also notice, when I receive an Email, It notifies we with a Song on my Music Player, that I never chose. I wonder what I could be.

if you have any programs on your sd card they won't hold defaults versus system apps that are on the internal memory. Just move em back to the phone and they will hold defaults. And as for ringtones i have no idea, my phone has never changed mine for me. Are you using ring droid or something like that to choose the ringers?

I am using Ringdroid to make and set ringtones.
You think that might be the issue.?

Yeah especially if it's on your sd too. If rd is move it over to internal that should do it.
